Botox® is a protein that weakens muscles that wrinkle the skin.  Botox® is a very common quick and safe non-surgical injection. Soft Tissue Fillers (Restylane, Hylaform, Juvederm, Collagen)

Youthful skin is smooth and elastic with a healthy, opalescent glow. During the aging process, this smoothness and elasticity waxes and ebbs, resulting in drier and thinner skin with a reduced capacity for replenishment. The hyaluronic acid and collagen levels in the skin diminish and the skin will begin to wrinkle and age.

Approved by the FDA, Restylane, Juvederm, and Hylaform Plus ( composed of hyaluronic acid) are  designed to smooth wrinkles, sculpt lips, and shape facial contours.  With their unique  ability to bind with water, these fillers  can last for up to 6 months or longer in the skin. The hyaluronic acid found in these fillers  is not of animal or human origin which means that there is no risk of disease transmittal or allergic reaction, which you might find in other cosmetic fillers. There is no need for skin tests and the risk of side effects is very low.

COLLAGEN – COSMODERM AND COSMOPLAST

Collagen is a protein found in the second layer of skin known as the dermis. Cosmoderm and Cosmoplast are human based collagen products that are injected under the dermis layer to provide fullness and volume to areas of the face such as the lips, cheeks and forehead. Collagen is used primarily to fill wrinkles, lines and scars on the face and sometimes the neck, back and chest.
